Eulogy After My Death, To My Friends and Family

Don’t idealize me. I was rude, impulsive,  disgusting in private. Treat this new griefas little more than an acquaintance talking too much, acting too familiar, slipping his business card in your pocket.  Our happiness arose from happenstance.I was often disappointing, lazy, sullen, broken. While I was dying, I didn’t really think about you,but instead about the lonely journey inward, the same you too will face, courageously, alone.
